'C' division girl's basketball competition international finals!
Friday, August 24, 2007
From Sheryl, 6:12 PM

Hi again!

Sorry I wasn't able to update my blog for awhile, all because of my sister hogging the laptop, and the fact that I was quite busy.

Anyway, speaking about the news in class 1/5,
Today, all the sec ones were dismissed early from class, just to watch the basketball national finals for the C division girls! And Unity Secondary school is one of the participating teams!

It had been a great game, and although Unity lost, I'm still very proud of them, especially two of my friends who were in that team, because they're still better at basketball than I am!

So if you have any comments about my blog, just leave them in the cbox when you scroll down the page. Try not to pretend to be someone else, but your name can be anonymous.

See ya!

Chinese supplementary lesson!
Wednesday, August 15, 2007
From Sheryl, 1:28 AM

Hi guys!
Just so you know, yes, I have supplementary lesson, and yes, I failed my Chinese many times...
So, you have to admit, the last post was dreadfully long...
This time, I've decided to make it a little shorter...
So here's a list of what I've done today:
1. Finish my homework last minute
2. Make a list of what two naughty classmates said to me today(I need it in order to prove to the diciplinary master that they did say vulgarities to me.)
3. Show that ;ist to my other classmates
4. Studying linear graphs(Maths)
5. Staying back for Chinese supplementary
6. Planing how to do my homework

...
I think that's about it...
Bye!

Last swimming lesson!
Tuesday, August 14, 2007
From Sheryl, 6:07 PM

Hi again!
Just thought I'd let you know that today was my last swimming lesson! The next week is going to be 3 35min-periods of CE with my teacher, but then the normal PE lesson will resume...( I REALLY hate PE 'cause it consists of running... but I need to improve my stamina anyway...)
Today, right after the test, the instructors broght all of us to the wave pool at Chua Chu Kang swimming Complex! It was so exciting over there and all of us had a great time!

Anyway, back to today's schol news in class 1/5!

During the one period of eng lesson, the teacher started telling us about ghost stories happening at where the BMT was held. Back then, when my teacher used to be a trainee (yeah... you guys now know what his gender is...), he saw an incident happening to one of his "friends". Tis friend of his is actually a christian, and he carries a chain with the cross on it all the time, even at night. One day, it suddenly disappered! He looked around his room for it, but he didn't find it at all!
The next day, his fellow trainee found it, hanging on top of a toilet cubical door, with the chain broken and a long strand of air( approx. 1/2m long, as how my teacher described it.)wrapped around the cross! The only reasonable explanation that my teacher could come up with was that the pranker (who was male)stole the chain and plucked one of his girlfriend's strand of hair to wrap around the cross.

The next one is much scarier, so if you do not want to have a nightmare, I suggest you not to read this (trust me, one of my classmates screamed so loud, I was almost deaf...)!
It all started when 2 unlucky trainees were choosen to have their navigation test conducted near the non-working toilet cubicals in Pulao Tekong( I'm not sure if this is the correct spelling...). These toilets used to belong to the inhabitants of that place.
One of the trainees was feeling quite urgent, so he went into the toilet and talked to his fellow trainee who was outside. After talking to him for a while, he heard a sound which seems to be another person using the toilet. Thinking it was his friend, he went out of the toilet after he had finished.
After seeing his frien outside, he asked him a question concerning wheather he was really inside the toilet at all. When his response was no, they suddenly heard each of the toilets flushing one by one (This is where my classmate started to scream, 'cause it made absolutely no sense, the toilets aren't even working at all!)! They were so scared, they both took an MC for a week due to a high fever of 39 degree Celcius!

Just so you know, I wasn't freaked out by these stories at all, 'cause I'm ot really sure if the're true or not...

But there's one thing I'm sure of: I'll still be updating this blog for everyone to view! Sorry if this post was too long or scary to read...

Yeah...maybe I should stop here...

Hi guys!
Sorry I've not been able to update my blog for a while, but I was quite busy during the holidays! Today I came across a video which may be in another language, but it's still very nice to watch, and those of you who are gonna watch this, I just want to add that this guy did ALL the sounds.

National Day Celebration in Unity!!!
Wednesday, August 8, 2007
From Sheryl, 11:21 AM

Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm back really early today, about an hour ago in fact. Today was one of the best days of my life! There were many uniform groups marching and in fact I remember seeing them reherse last Friday! And not just that, there were new CCA leaders choosen and all of us saw it this morning. An dthen after that, all of us sang until our throats were sore! After that, there were inter-class games held, and for Sec 1, it was captain's ball! The day before yesterday, we were given a choice to participate or not, but of course, I didn't want to join ( Running was what I really hated unless there's a good reason to do so...), so I supported my class and nearly made my friends deaf!
Those who weren't participating could go home earlier, so I rushed back home 'cause I really don't like to stay in school for long! Anyway, my stamina needed to be higher!
I'll just type until here. If you have any comments, please put it in the cbox ( I really don't know where the comments are supposed to be!)
Bye!

2 more days to S'pore's 42nd National Day!!!!!
Tuesday, August 7, 2007
From Sheryl, 5:10 PM

Hi!!!!! I came back from swimming about 3 hours ago, and the instructor was'nt present!!! So I had a great time swimming by myself as well as with a friend of mine, until my feet was sore...
Anyway, I'd better be careful with who I'm going to tell about my blog, 'cause as it turns out, the eng teacher took a look at more profiles, as my classmates forgot to make their's private!
Science was pretty interesting today, as we had just completed the chapter on mixtures. I'm thinking that the science teacher has a date, as she was wearing clothes that were not so appealing to the class...( I seriously do not want to go into details of how some other teachers might think of her..)
Chinese was okay, exept teh fact that we have another test on what we've learnt. It's a chance for me to actually get out of supplementary class ( Or as my chinese teacher likes to say: A meeting!) and I desparately want to pass!!!!! But just my luck: I dno't really know the chapters that the teacher revised with us!! I'm doomed!!!!!!
Tomorrow, Unity Secondary School is celebrating National Day, so that means that it's only half a day!!! I really want to go back home, and fast!!!!
Well, now I need to complete my homework, so I'll post back tomorrow about the National Day celebration when I get back home ( I'll try to do it ASAP, I promise!) .

News from the classroom!!
Monday, August 6, 2007
From Sheryl, 6:45 PM

Today, during eng class, the teacher noted that he saw one of the students' blogs!!! He even said that the student did a great job on his/her blog: I thad pictures of him/her in class and even going out! Anyway, today's class was'nt so funny today, at least not until science class...
Today, my chem teacher had a new hairdo which really took the whole class by surprise! And for that whole period, I stayed more awake than ever! I even wrote faster ( I think!)!
And today, during CE period, my teacher complimented our creative masterpieces on how to care for Singapore! She also happens to be my Lit teacher, in case you were wondering.
As for every teacher's name, it'll just remain anomoynous, in case they ever saw what I typed and jot hurt unintentionly...
Tomorrow, there's going to be a swimming class and I love swimming!!! I can't wait!
